MAP for Coaches

MAP for coaches is a live, online program consisting of 8 weekly 90 minute sessions. The program is limited to a small number of participants in order to insure time for each of us to learn through experience and discussion.

Each 90 minute class, conducted on the Zoom platform, will consist of several learning elements: lecture, group discussion, pairs practice, and guided meditation. Your commitment as a participant, aside from attending the live sessions, will be to practice with the provided guided meditation each day for about 25 minutes.

Due to the nature of the course, the sessions will NOT be recorded, and there is no "make-up" for a session. However, my commitment is to be available to support each participant for the entire period. Typically, that might take the form of a short call to talk about the main learnings from a session you missed, or a topic you would like help with, or correspondence by email.

There will be limited written materials for you to read summarizing key points from each session. At the end of the course I am happy to supply further reading or practicing suggestions based on your individual interest.

There is an application process and brief live screening to insure that this training is appropriate for each participant. Each participant in the course will have attested that they have an ICF certification or equivalent coaching certification from an accredited school or organization, or are a licensed therapist.

The course is approved by the International Coaching Federation for 12 ICF CCE units (8.25 Core Competencies). The next cohort is not scheduled yet, if you are interested in scheduling a free introduction for a group, please fill out the form below.

My Qualifications

Aside from my credentials as a coach, which you can read on the About page or by clicking on the icons in the footer of this website, I am certified to teach Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction through the University Of Massachusetts Medical School. That program is the seminal course that brought mindfulness to the broader secular world. Over the past years, I have had the honor to introduce mindfulness meditation to hundreds of people through various programs. Most importantly, I am a dedicated practitioner having spent thousands of hours meditating on my own and in intense retreat with a number of gifted teachers.
